Postfacto: Leonardo Journal of Sciences (or Leonardo J. Sci., Leonardo J Sci or simply LJS) opperated as an free (and freeware) open access journal from July 2002 to December 2018. It is closed (ceased) now.


General:
The Leonardo Journal of Sciences (Leonardo J Sci ISO 4 regulations abbreviated title) is an open access journal published under tutee of AcademicDirect Publishing House, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
The electronic support of this journal is available at ljs.academicdirect.org domain of Cluj-Napoca Technical University.
The target of LJS is to encourage scientific research announcements and to facilitate the access in scientific and technical specialized literature through especially promoting of scientific and technical original and valuable materials that are focused on forming and growing of scientific resources that are written in English.
The journal allow readers to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of its articles and allow readers to use them for any other lawful purpose.
One of the objectives of the journal is to promote and encourage the publicist activity of young researchers through promoting original and valuable materials of them.
The journal welcomes published original papers in subject area of science (in general) dealing with algorithms and computer applications.
Journal exists with independent statute on publicist activity. The materials selection (original articles, works, and reviews) will be made by the executive editor, which will selected the materials according to journal sections, will decided if the material can be published and will forwarded to one or more referents for handling the peer-review procedure.
The redaction engages that through promoting publicist materials will do with respect to Romanian Constitution, the Laws of Romania and University Carta. LJS is coming to confirm the strategic policy of information branch growing in Romania.

It is closed. The last issue is the Issue 33 (July-December 2018).
First of all: Authors who submit papers to LJS must be aware to NOT submit same papers to ANY another journal (NOT before and NOT after) their submission to LJS. This issue aplies until the final decision is made (publication or rejection). Breaking of this rule produces as consequence AT LEAST no more considering for publication of any paper from the author. February 8, 2007.

Frequently mistakes April 2, 2013.
  1. Cites/references writen in Harvard style (e.g. (John, 1987)) in place of the journal style (using [] brakets and numbering) - please see journal style for citing papers!
  2. A research paper, the introduction section should be ended with the research aim and/or objectives;
  3. Figures, tables and equations should be refered in the body of the paper (this is the reason of the numbering);
  4. Numbered sections should be refered in the body of the paper (this is the reason of the numbering);
  5. A section cannot end with a table/equation/figure except for "Results" section; no exception for "Results and Discussion";
  6. A "Results" or "Results and Discussion" section cannot contain results of other authors; only your results!
  7. Give, explain and discuss mathematical equations only if these are part of the reseach (when were included in the simulation for example); for the rest of the cases give the reference to a textbook which contain the math.
  8. Repetition of the information given in equations, tables and figures should be avoided;
  9. Trivial calculations (such as 2+3=5) cannot be presented in a academic paper;
